I am here to assist in the military Veterans’ funeral arrangements by pre-planning. Contact me today to request a quote and find out more information. It’s a simple process where I only need discharge papers (DD214) from you. If you need help locating your discharge papers I can help you with that too.

I would love to do a quick, no pressure, no obligation talk to educate Veterans on their burial benefits at your event. Im available for presentations at:

• Elks

• VFW

• Senior Centers

• Chamber of Commerce events

• HOA meetings

Burial Eligibility

Burial in a national cemetery is open to all members of the armed forces and Veterans who have met minimum active duty service requirements and have been discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. Their spouse, minor children and, under certain conditions, dependent unmarried adult children are also eligible for burial even if they predecease the Veteran.

Benefits

Burial benefits include a gravesite in our national cemeteries with available space, or a VA-funded state cemetery; the opening and closing of the grave; a government headstone or marker; perpetual care of the grave; a burial flag; and Presidential Memorial Certificates at no cost to the family. VA's Veterans Benefits Administration pays a burial and plot allowance for those Veterans eligible by law. For information, please contact me

Arranging Burial

The funeral home or next-of-kin should contact the National Cemetery Scheduling Office to make burial arrangements for Veterans and/or their eligible dependents.

Headstones & Markers

VA provides headstones and markers: For the graves of eligible Veterans in private and government cemeteries around the world

Military Funeral Honors

The Department of Defense (DOD) is responsible for providing military funeral honors.

Bronze Medallions

VA provides a bronze medallion that can be affixed to an existing privately purchased headstone or marker to signify the deceased's status as a Veteran.

Presidential Memorial Certificates

A Presidential Memorial Certificate (PMC) is inscribed with the Veteran's name and bears the President's signature to honor the memory of honorably discharged, deceased Veterans. Intended recipients include next of kin and loved ones.
